1. Warranty Coverage
This warranty guarantees that Perabot Sin Hup Fatt furniture products are free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential or commercial use, as defined below. Coverage is subject to the terms and limitations outlined herein.
A. Scope of Coverage
- Defects in Materials: Flaws inherent in raw materials (e.g., wood splits, metal fractures, fabric tears) that arise under normal use.
- Defects in Workmanship: Issues caused during manufacturing (e.g., improper stitching, faulty joinery, misaligned moving parts).
- Structural Integrity: Failures of load-bearing components (e.g., chair legs, bed frames, table bases) due to manufacturing errors.
B. Limitations
- Intended Use: Coverage applies only to furniture used in environments and conditions specified in the product manual (e.g., indoor vs. outdoor, weight limits).
- Commercial Use: Products used in high-traffic commercial settings (e.g., offices, hostels) may have reduced warranty terms compared to residential use.
- Proof of Purchase: Valid receipt or invoice is required for all claims.
C. What is Covered
- Repair or replacement of defective parts/components.
- Full product replacement (at Perabot Sin Hup Fatt’s discretion) if the defect cannot be repaired.
- Coverage for manufacturing flaws in: Moving Parts: Hinges, drawer slides, reclining mechanisms.
- Structural Components: Frames, legs, joints.
- Surface Finishes: Factory-applied paints, varnishes, or laminates (excluding wear from use)
D. Warranty Activation
- Coverage begins on the date of DELIVERY ORDER (as shown on the receipt).
- For online orders, the warranty starts on the delivery date.
E. Transferability
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
2. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following:
A. General Wear and Tear
- Moving parts: Degradation of hinges, drawer slides, casters, reclining/swivel mechanisms, or folding parts (common in chairs, cabinets, desks, sofas, and extendable tables).
- Surface finishes: Scratches, fading, or discoloration on fabrics, leather, wood, painted surfaces, or decorative trims due to regular use.
- Structural fatigue: Sagging cushions, loose threads, or softening of padding in upholstered furniture.
B. Improper Usage
- Exceeding weight limits (e.g., overloading shelves, chairs, or bed frames).
- Outdoor use of indoor furniture (unless explicitly designed for outdoor use).
- Misuse of adjustable parts (e.g., forcing stuck drawers, leaning on non-reclining chairs).
C. Improper Maintenance
- Exceeding weight limits (e.g., overloading shelves, chairs, or bed frames).
- Failure to follow care instructions (e.g., using harsh chemicals on leather/wood, neglecting to tighten screws).
- Stains, mold, or odors on fabrics, leather, or upholstery due to spills or lack of cleaning.
- Rust on metal components or tarnishing of decorative hardware (e.g., handles, knobs) caused by humidity, moisture, or acidic cleaners.
D. Negligence Due to Improper Self-Installation or Unauthorized Repairs
- Damage from incorrect assembly (e.g., misaligned screws, unbalanced structures).
- Issues from ignoring installation guidelines (e.g., wall-mounted shelves not anchored to studs).
- Any alterations, repairs, or modifications by non-authorized personnel will void the warranty.
E. Damage to Painted/Finished Surfaces
- Chipping, peeling, or fading of painted surfaces due to sunlight, abrasive cleaning, or impact.
- Cloudiness, bubbling, or discoloration of varnished/lacquered finishes from heat, moisture, or chemical exposure.
- Water rings, heat marks, or scratches on tables/desks from spills, hot items, or sharp objects.
F. Decorative & Furnishing Elements
- Loose/tarnished handles, knobs, or decorative hardware.
- Peeling veneers/laminate, frayed trims, or damage to inlays/moldings.
- Fading, stuffing loss, or shape distortion in decorative pillows/cushions.
G. Other Exclusions
- Exceeding weight limits (e.g., overloading shelves, chairs, or bed frames).
- Damage from accidents, pests, fire, floods, natural disasters, or unauthorized repairs.
- Products purchased secondhand, “as-is,” or from unofficial retailers.

Wood | Warping/splitting from humidity; scratches/dents; unstained wood fading. |
Metal | Rust, dents, tarnishing of non-coated metals (e.g., brass). |
